Amazing Plant!

I (accidentally) planted one of these cowpeas in my garden bed and it completely took off! It’s taking over the whole bed, in a good way. It’s making an excellent ground cover for my other plants, and just keeps on producing beans. I’m letting them dry on the plant and I’ll be cooking the dried peas later on this winter. My kids love eating them raw off the plant when the pods are small. I got some of these from the Seed Library at our local library, and I’m so glad I did!
