Lunar Tracker Calendar - 2025 Limited Edition

  • WY2025
  • By Weaver Younghands, Tucson artist.

The theme for 2025 is How Ocean Affects Desert, teaching us how, even though we don't see the ocean in our immediate environment, it is the giver of life in countless ways: balancer of our planetary energy, holding homeostasis for the whole planet, the driver of all weather patterns, sends rain to the desert, the source of salt and nutrients, the source of life and of our own origin. Detailed descriptions are in the book.

The Tracker begins near the Winter Solstice and spans the next 13 moon cycles, from December 3, 2024 to January 18, 2026. The "months" are laid out by moon cycles rather than by the months of the Gregorian calendar system, to relate to time in a more earth-oriented way.

They are designed for observing and tracking life aspects: such as health, personal biorhythms, planting/gardening, harvesting, fermenting, dreams, ecological observations, or as a daily art/reflection practice. Space is left for adding color, notes, and personal illustrations in the margins. The opening page has explanations & suggestions for using the Tracker. Astrological progressions of the sun and moon are listed. Gregorian dates are written for reference.

Printed locally in Tucson on heavy card stock. Hand-stitched with colored binding, measures 4.5" x 16". Limited number available.

To the moon and back

My third year in a row to order one. Wonderful illustrations and great for tracking the phases of our beautiful mother 🌕.

LOVE these trackers!

As a fellow artist, I find these so inspirational and creative. I couldn’t afford two, so I gifted this one to my teenage son, a budding artist, and he sketches in it every day

Stunning artwork! This calendar elicits questions from my students that lead to discussions about the value of the indigenous cultures throughout the world.

Lovely gift

I gave this calendar to family last year and this year. The illustrations are lovely and they enjoy it very much.
