Large Round Lidded Basket - Tohono O'odham

This handwoven basket is by Tohono O'Odham artist Della Cruz from Sells, Arizona. Basket measures 3.25 inches high plus a 1 inch high lid handle and approx. 5 inches in diameter. Lid is removable for storage inside the basket.

Plant materials are hand gathered from the Sonoran Desert. Green coils are native beargrass and the white, open stitches are of sun bleached yucca. Keep away from sunlight to maintain color variations.
