Juliet Farina (she/they) has joined NS/S with a deep-rooted passion for caring for the land, which is closely tied to their indigenous heritage. They began their journey serving with the Rocky Mountain Youth Corps, maintaining Colorado’s trails and collaborating with the National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management, and United States Forest Service. This experience cultivated both technical skills and a love for preserving natural spaces. In recognition of their dedication to these efforts, they were honored with The President’s Volunteer Service Award in 2019.
An avid hiker, kayaker, and camper, Juliet feels most at home in nature. Their connection to the outdoors informs not only their conservation efforts but also their creative work as an artist and musician. With a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, Juliet brings a unique, creative perspective to their team, finding innovative ways to blend art with environmental stewardship.
