The Party:
- Get your hands dirty with the staff of Native Seeds/SEARCH at the annual Dia de San Juan planting party!
- Help plant tepary beans, devils claw, and corn, thresh wheat, pull out pesky weeds and join in other aspects of maintaining the Conservation Center garden.
- Special guest speaker Moses Thompson TUSD/UA School Gardening Coordinator
- Special guest Gary Nabhan Native Seeds/SEARCH co-founder will be on site to discuss and sign his new book Food from the Radical Center
- The Purple Tree Food Truck will be on site with delicious smoothies, fresh juices, and acai bowls available for purchase.
This event is free, but space is limited and registration is required. We look forward to seeing everyone!
