Amy (she/her) is a business owner, educator, mother, and now a proud member of the NS/S staff. Her love for the Southwest began in Southern Colorado while at school earning a degree in Communications at Fort Lewis College. She holds a Master's Degree in Education from Prescott College. She has been on the boards of Mission Garden and Living Streets Alliance and has been a volunteer at Iskashitaa Refugee Network. She has extensive knowledge of retail finance as well as deep experience in place-based education, adult education (specifically working with refugees) and community facilitation. She loves living near Sonora, Mexico and enjoys travel, music and being outdoors.
