Desert Colors Wildflower Mix

  • WRA034
  • Sonoran Desert Natives plus Old Garden Favorites.

The "Old-Garden Favorites" in this mix are non-Sonoran old-time garden regulars (our favorites) that are non-invasive.

Seeds may be planted anytime of year, as different species in the mix may germinate in any season in the event of a substantial rainfall. Most of these species bloom from late Winter through Spring, so that plantings from late September through February will provide the best results.

Natives: Arroyo Lupine, Bahia, California Poppy, Desert Bluebells, Desert Marigold, Desert Senna, Dyssodia, Mexican Gold Poppy, Fendler Bladderpod, Gordon's Bladderpod, Desert Lupine, Lemon Beebalm, Parry's Penstemon, Prairie Coneflower, Pygmy Aster, Silverbells, Thimblehead, Paperflower, Colored Globemallow, Indian Blanketflower, Showy Evening Primrose, Wild Sunflower.

Exotics: Scarlet Flax, Coreopsis, Cosmos, Shirley Poppy, Five-spot, Baby Snapdragons.

Great Mix and Company

This spring, we ordered a bulk supply of wildflower seed mix from Native Seeds/SEARCH to share with our church community, and we couldn't be happier with the experience and results. Native Seeds/SEARCH was incredibly easy to work with, making the whole process smooth from start to finish. They provided locally sourced seeds, ensuring the flowers would be well-suited to our environment, and it paid off!

We've received wonderful feedback this fall as wildflowers have been blooming all across the East Valley. It’s truly rewarding to see these native flowers thriving and adding color to our community. This seed mix not only lived up to its promise but has also helped us make a positive impact by encouraging native plant growth in our area. Highly recommended for anyone looking to add vibrant, locally appropriate wildflowers to their community or garden!

Always reliable

I have moved from store bought flowers to native flowers in an attempt to support the bees. I use no pesticides and plan to apply for Bee Habitat status with Maricopa County. There is no place I trust more than Native Seeds. Most of the flowers come back each year, but I still reorder occasionally to ensure a great bloom. I collect seeds as a back up and to be able to spread the flowers to other areas of my choice.

Have been pleased to see my seeds sprouting in a variety of planting situations and can't wait to see them bloom.
