As a Arizonan home gardener I want to grow crops that are appropriate for my area, the low desert of the Santa Rosa wash. I have always enjoyed the challenges that gardening has dished out but have not always been successful. However my latest mission is growing the foods that sustained the people of this desert for hundreds of year. Crops that have been tried and true in our hot, dry climate. Native Seed Search has been the best source of these seeds and they always send a planting chart and info on different growing methods. Looking forward to getting my S'oam Baw in the ground in time for the monsoon rains. I have had good success with other seeds purchased from Native Seed and am confident my teparies will do well also.
