Cucumis melo. A spanish heirloom from northern New Mexico. These sweet oval cantaloupes have prominent netting on exterior and salmon-colored flesh with good flavor.

Origin: high desert around 5900'
Approx. 1g/25 seeds per packet.
Limit 3 packets.

Melon and Spinach

Planted the spinach and melon at the same time. They came up quickly, but the birds got the tiny spinach. So replanted spinach and covered with shade cloth. They are doing well. When big enough will go on the trellis. Melons are doing great, but not yet getting flowers. Hopefully they will produce some melons. Will likely plant sooner next year.
I received my order very quickly. Looking forward to planting more Native seeds.
