The brown tepary retains its shape and firmness, yet is tender and makes a thin gravy, making it a perfect ingredient for soups, stews, dips and spreads. It also makes a great addition to salads.

    Indigenous to the American Southwest, tepary beans were grown by Native communities for their drought tolerance and offer a rich source of fiber and protein with a low glycemic index.

Very nice beans

We sampled both the brown and white tepary beans. We liked both. The brown are a little richer in flavor. But we like both so much we sent some to both adult children.
