  • These smallish, plum-type tomatoes are excellent for fresh eating and also make a dense sauce with a "fulsome delicious" mellow balance, according to Chef Molly Beverly, our partner farmer who grew them in 2021.  The productive plants mature quickly and are tolerant of arid conditions.

I have found it!

This is proving to be THE tomato I've been searching for. It has been the easiest tomato I have eve]er grown. Fast germination, sturdy, attractive vines that sailed through our Chihuahuan pre-monsoon June heat without a flinch, setting and ripening fruit the whole time. I just wish the fruits were a bit larger, but that certainly isn't a deal breaker. It sends out suckers so vigorously I can barely keep up with them and I'm rotting the big ones I snap off to make even more plants to get in during the monsoon season. And it TASTES GOOD! I've been recommending it to everyone here in Las Cruces.

Too early to tell. Dog Stepped on the plant but it's coming back lots of small green tomatoes.

Looking very good so far!

These tomatoes, though planted late, have nearly caught up with my plants which were started much earlier and they are now blooming. They are sturdy and healthy; I am looking forward to trying the fruit, will review again after I get some ripe ones.
