Good flavor, grows well in a short season, gorgeous squash

I grew this in South Dakota where we have a short, hot, dry summer. I have found lots of things from Native Seeds Search grow great up here. We're known for our cold winters but our summers can hit 100 and not rain for weeks. These things are extremely productive. The fruits are few but massive, and thick. The seed haul is phenomenal. It's been a few years since I grew them, I'm just here leaving a review as I buy some more for this year, so I don't exactly remember the flavor. But it was good.

These things are also gorgeous. The green and yellow stripes are so pretty!!
