She blesses the openings to the Hopi kivas with cornmeal and a prayer for the corn crops to provide ongoing food for Mother Earth's children. Blue Corn Maiden reminds us to always be thankful for the rich bounty of Mother Earth
    • Hand carved from cottonwood root by Hopi artist Sunaweuma (Dino Patterson) from Hotevilla, Third Mesa, AZ
    • Sculpture measures approx 18.5 inches tall including the feather and 4.5 inches wide, plus a 1.5 inch high x 6 inches in diameter base
    • Beautiful, elegant workmanship
    • Signed by the artist
